The president of Turkey Recep Erdogan announced the ban of all international flights on March 27th in an effort to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.
It was stated that all international flights are banned temporarily, until further notice. It was also announced that travels within Turkey’s national borders are also restricted and residents will need formal permission from local governors that will allow them to travel within the country.
However, these restrictions will not affect property transactions in Turkey. All required procedures will be done remotely, as all local authorities will provide their services online.
