The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey has released the latest data on the country's real estate market in June of this year. According to the results, housing prices have gone up by 4.8% over the month and have seen an annual growth rate of 95.9%. It is important to note that these figures do not take inflation into account. When inflation is factored in, the price growth index stands at 38%.
In terms of the average cost per square meter of housing stock in Turkey, it was recorded at $910 in June 2023. The cities with the highest price growth rates are Ankara (106%), Izmir (100%), and Istanbul (85.1%). These cities also lead in terms of the number of real estate transactions concluded.
