In January and February 2020, 286,246 properties were sold in Turkey, including residential, commercial properties and land plots. This figure is 41% higher than property sales during the same period last year.

Experts say that the increase in sales is the result of the decrease in interest rates of mortgage loans. Turkish banks more and more friendly loan terms and conditions, encouraging people to buy properties. The number of mortgage applications keeps growing.

If property sales don’t start decreasing, the country will sell the record number of properties this year.
