Last month's apartment sales in Turkey dropped comparing with november 2019

In November 2020, 112,483 residential properties were sold in the country. This is 18.7% less than in the same period last year and 6% less than in October this year.

In November the largest number of apartments and cottages, about 21,000 units, were purchased in Istanbul. Ankara was the second popular destination. Izmir followed the capital. The least people were interested in buying houses in the provinces of Hakkari and Ardahan.

A third of the apartments bought in Turkey in November 2020 are located in new residential projects.

21.7% of apartments and villas were purchased on a mortgage loan. Istanbul also topped this list.
