Antalya is traditionally popular with Russian citizens. The past 2022 was a record year for the number of real estate transactions with foreigners. According to the Statistics Institute of Turkey, the cost of rent increased by 209%. The information says that the rapid growth of internal migration of the indigenous population has resulted in growing dissatisfaction with foreign nationals in the country. 79% of the country's citizens object to their presence in Turkey.
